After a two year break it was time to bring back the Birthday Bike Race! We had a great crowd of families here to help celebrate the parks 8th birthday. The ‘bus peeps’ got busy on course marking and cake design - a pump track complete with lego Troopy and trailer! The old trophy (first used in 1997) came out of hiding and the competition was hot to see who would hold it up as the new champ!
After some practice laps on our purpose build ‘Birthday Cake’ trail, the kids laid down some speedy times and mean as skids! We gave away spot prizes to everyone thanks to Specialized in, and Bink was crowned the winner. Now we need to get thinking about what shape the cake will take next year!
