Season Seven is almost here and it is shaping up to be EPIC.
You can now book your spot on our scheduled open shuttle days, or lock in a private shuttle session with a group of friends. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions!
There is currently no access available for pedalling, shuttles, hunting etc as we are doing extensive work on the shuttle road over winter.
Open Shuttle Days
We do things a little differently to your average bike park here at Middle Hill - mainly because we’re not your average bike park!! With absolute minimal crew here midweek, and being located three hours drive from our nearest city, we don’t run shuttles all day every day. You can use a pedal pass whenever you like, and private shuttles are available most days.
We do, however, open up once or twice a month for Open Shuttle Days, a product of our own invention that provides optimal flexibility, bang for buck and bloody good times! If you like riding bikes downhill and hanging out with fellow mountain bikers then these are the days you need to aim to be here.
Here’s how it works…
Basically, the shuttle vehicles start loading up and leaving the carpark from 9am, and keeps rolling up and down that hill all day long! First in first served, if you get here late just pedal around to Pick Up 1 and get in line (there’s not usually a line!!). From there, ride as much or as little as you like. Vehicles leave Pick Up 1 as soon as they’re full and deliver riders to the top, with the option to be dropped off at half way for beginner-intermediate riders. Go for a pedal if your heart desires, session your favourite feature, take a long lunch or shred hard all day long - the choice is yours.
Generally speaking, you need to book your spot in advance (we may have room for some on the day additions but no promises there!). Your booking fee covers unlimited pedal access for the day, plus your first TWO shuttle laps.
We record how many laps you do, and charge $10 for each additional lap at the end of the day. By default, this payment will automatically come out of the card you booked with, so if you’d rather pay a different way please let us know!
This is a great time to plan to stay the weekend - camp at the car park, enjoy a couple of cold ones around the camp fire and compare notes on who has the sickest whip on te carpark jumps at the end of the day. Package deals for these weekends are coming, watch this space.
Stuff thats good to know…
You’ll have the option to just pay the deposit when you book and the balance will be sorted once you get here. Alternatively, you can get it all paid up in one hit!
You can book for more than one session in the one transaction; once you’ve clicked ‘BOOK NOW’ there will be a ‘Make another booking’ or ‘Products’ button in the top left of the next screen!
Youth rates are for riders under 18 years of age. There must be an adult on the property with the youth, however they aren’t required to ride with them. Youths will need to ride with a phone if they are unaccompanied on the hill.
If the session you want is booked out, or if you’ve got a group of 6 or more interested in riding midweek when there are no sessions offered, its worth getting in touch to see if we can accomodate you! If there’s less than 7 of you, the Private Pajero Shuttles will be the way to go. For 6 to 10 people there’s the Private Troopy Shuttles, and we’ve doubled down with a second Troopy this season too!
