Vale Inc @ Middle Hill
Everything the Vale Inc crew does is art.
Intentional. Considered. And unapologetically unique.
From visualising how to transform terrain and sculpting dirt into perfect shapes, to the way they approach riding, filming and putting together a visual masterpiece.
All they needed was a blank canvas - one which we were more than happy to provide.
The result is Vale Ave - an experimental flow line intended to be interpreted and enjoyed by all. Riding it is pure joy and impossible not to let out a squeal of delight!

Such a special track needed a special opening event, and the Vale Jam was indeed special.
The boys returned to Middle Hill at the start of the season, eager to see how the features had held jup over winter - very well as it turned out! Still, all hands were on deck to polish it up ready for the big reveal.
Over 80 riders from NZ and abroad turned up for three days of slappin’ dirt, riding bikes and sharing a brew or two around the fire. There were some heavy hitters in attendance, as well as the local crew and even a couple of mums on e-bikes!
Vibes were high and even a couple of intense hail storms on the morning of the main event couldn’t surpress the excitement to finally put tires on dirt. Such a cool session and great to see all the hard work paying off as every rider expressed their love for what has been created.
A true collaboration
This time when the boys returned to film a clip for their sponsor Deity, rather than creating something new they decided to focus on what was already here. One of the first trails we ever build - Twisty Tree - got a whole lot of Vale Inc love, while still retaining it’s original flavour.
This clip captures the vibe perfectly.
The first project completed by Vale Inc at Middle Hill - the build of Vale Ave for the film Earned Turns - was entirely self-funded.
The successful completion of this has kicked off inspiration for all sorts of projects that we would love to get the boys back for - but this time we want to pay them what they deserve!

What began as a build and film project has opened the door to endless possibilities for collaboration.
We’re so inspired to work with a crew who share our vision and look at terrain with their own unique lens. Their work ethic and passion is inspirational.
We don’t know exactly what the future holds for Middle Hill but we do know that we want these boys in it!
